I am a first year PhD student in Public Policy (Economics Track) at the Harvard Kennedy School.
I was previously working as India Director at Development Data Lab. At DDL, I co-authored studies spanning in-group judicial bias in India, upward mobility in South Asia, excess mortality during Covid-19 and implications of cultural distance on economic opportunity. At DDL, I also helped build an ongoing gender research agenda and led fundraising and partnerships for the organization.
I was introduced to the world of development economics research through large scale evaluations of education and early childhood development programs across Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu (India) at J-PAL South Asia.
When not trying to make sense of the world through data, I can be found cooking up a storm, painting, or on long (slow) runs with my husband.
